Reducing our footprint at Wai Baby

In order to reduce our footprint on the planet, we at Wai Baby strive to do the following:

  • Carry and promote products that are manufacturer in or as close to the Pacific Northwest as possible
  • Seek out products which are manufactured in a environmentally sound process
  • Minimize packaging of products and choose natural packaging when possible
  • Conduct web-based and personal sales reducing energy needed for a storefront shop
  • Facilitate the donation of used cloth diapers from customers to needy families

What is “wai”?

Wai (pronounced “why”) is the Thai word for a greeting consisting of a slight bow with the two hands pressed together in a prayer-like fashion. Practiced in India as “namaste”, this greeting denotes respect and recognizing a common divinity within the other person.
